We would like to wish you and yours a prosperous 2016!
Welcome to Gordon Memorial United Methodist Church Home! We are excited that you are interested in learning more about our church family. We are a Christ-centered, Compassionate family living in a diverse Community making disciples for Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. We are made up of more than 4 generations and are extremely blessed by the diversity that it brings.
There is a place in Gordon just for you! Our worship is very diverse and exciting from the traditional to the contemporary encompassing our black heritage as well as our Methodist roots. We are reaching church with our Substance Abuse Ministry; a teaching church with our strong Christian Education system and an outreach church with our Gordon Cares, Hands of Hope and Safe Sanctuary nursery. The ministries of Gordon Memorial affords adults of all ages – couples and singles, children, and youth, the opportunity to grow in Christ as well as offer Christ. It is our desire to bring together the best of the spiritual and the intellect to create an atmosphere of excellence for our Creator. We extend a special invitation to you to join us in our pursuit of spiritual and physical wholeness. We seek to live out ourfaith in Jesus Christ and make our world a better place through the leadership of the Holy Spirit.
We encourage you to review the information that we have provided and feel free to contact us to learn more about the ministries and mission of Gordon Memorial. I will forever remain in Christ.
Sincerely,
Pastor Charles L. White, Jr.
